1. 1988: Moved to Canada to attend Queen's University.


2. 1990: Transferred to University of Pennsylvania, received economics degree and degree in physics.


3. 1999: Co-founded then sold his software company "Zip2" to Compaq for $340m.


4. 2000: Founded then sold his online bank "X.com" which would go on to become PayPal for $1.5b to eBay.


5. 2002: Founded SpaceX.

2035 A.D.: First attempt at colonising Mars failed, resulting in the death of 30 people. He blames himself for rushing, to serve his own pride.

Intellectual Characteristics

Superbly intelligent. Is a member of the Fellowship of the Royal Society, an award granted to individuals that the Royal Society of London judges to have made a 'substantial contribution to the improvement of natural knowledge, including mathematics, engineering science and medical science'.
