The gentle protector of Aelanir's Climb
- Gender
- Female
Bryn and her twin sister Eryn are mirror images of one another in appearance, but their personalities are night-and-day.
Eryn, the eldest by nearly three hours, holds all of the titles, moneys, lands, and privileges but is brusque and acerbic by nature.
Bryn, on the other hand, holds none of the titles or prestige but keeps everything in order and is gentle, polite, formal, and businesslike by nature. Bryn was the driving force for the founding of and organization of Aelanir’s Shield, nearly 100 years ago. She is the one who attends council meetings and dresses formally.
Rumors abound that Bryn is her sister’s slave and that she has been forbidden from marrying. In reality, Bryn has sworn herself as an Elven Sentinel to her own house. As Eryn is the family’s matriarch, this leads to a sometimes awkward master/servant relationship in formal situations. Bryn has begun attempts to arrange for suitors for her sister, but that has been met with extreme resistance and even hostility.
The Aleantlarn lands (tiny as they are, and located adjacent to the city) are used for training and housing the members of the Shield that do not live in the city.
