Personal history

Lance Crius, yougest son of the Crius family (a family of merchants) was the quiet type of child, he could speak and interact with others if asked to but by option he would tend to his books. Very few could gather his atention, those being mostly family or house employees, but there were exeptions, one of those was Ally Phern, the daughter of a close friend and business partner of his father, she was his first (and platonic) love.
lances addiction for cards began when he gary phern (ally's father) taught lance how to play, he was staying at the phern's abode at the time because morgana got sick and his parents (who got sick as well) didn't want him to be aflinged too, ally and rosa were out traveling to see family. lance and gary spent the next few days drinking and playing.
as the years went by Cesar (lance's father) decided to begin and prepare his children to take over the family business. Morgana were to be handed the regular trades since she was better at dealing with clients and better at keeping the good public image of the family, lance will be trusted with the more "not exactly legal" part of business due to his knowledge of the darker parts of the city and his "lack of morality" (even though if you ask lance he will say that an inch of morgana's hair is more devillish the he could ever be).

Education

like many richer kids, lance had private tutors in most matters, tough his journey into the arcane would come from watching his sister, after reading a little out of curiosity, lance found out that magic could be usefull in his games, later on he became truly interested in magic, since he aways were a fast learner, his development were faster than morgana's. the biggest diference between the two is their specialization. morgana were aways more charismatic and dwelved in how to get better at it, lance in the other side, searched a way to better keep track of his things and also to GIT GUD (for card games sake).

Employment

Lance oversees the legaly importing and taxation (smuggling operation) of the Crius family.

Failures & Embarrassments

once, lance lost a bet against augusto, because of that, he was encharged of teaching little bit of history to laura (gary's daughter) who was maybe 1 or 2 years younger than lance, lance and laura grew closer and had a little case together, fearing augusto's fury and losing one of his father's good client, lance broke with laura and steped off the teacher's job, laura is not furious anymore but she is no fan o lance either, augusto doesn't know about the incident and still a friend of lance, and a partner in game.

Lance was never able to beat gary in a cards game, even though he can use magic, he was never able to figure the old man's tricks.

not really concerned with morality, as tend to happen to many wizards as the grow and dwelve deeper in their respective fields of specialization.
