Ashlynn was born on Brant walks in Yorn during 9232 to Pavel Hornraven, a tall raven haired man and freelance blacksmith of moderate repute, and Natali Hornraven, a moderately built brown haired woman who managed the business side of her husband's works. As a child she would often watch her father work the forge, and would sometimes help where the small hands of a child wouldn't hinder too much. With the passage of time her assistance in her father's forge increased in scope and she began to show an innate understanding, not only for smithing, but for the making of all kinds. It was soon discovered by Pavel and Natali that they had a prodigy on their hands. Once young Ashlynn reach the age of 32 they began contacting and treating with the Maker's guild in hopes of allowing their daughter to flourish in her skills at smithing, tinkering, alchemy, locksmithing, and clockwork, as well as an understanding of the arcane.
 
Upon reaching the age of 38 she was accepted in as a full member of the guild, and a private lodging with attached workshop was provided for her to live in and work from. In this workshop she toiled and over the years produced, a number of minor developments, improvements on existing devices as well as a few entirely new constructions, but all know it is only a matter of time before she comes up with something truly groundbreaking, as such many eyes are on her.
 
With the passing of time and her growing reputation as the Maker's guild's young prodigy some of noble houses who wished to claim her eventual breakthroughs as a boon to their reputations began attempting to organize her marriage into their houses, many would try to treat with her parents , or her guild master behind her back , but neither was interested in playing her as a playing piece. A select few houses had sent suitors to her directly, which suited her just fine, if she is to marry into some noble house, it would be on her terms and hers alone.

Accomplishments & Achievements

Inventor and creator of the Color Keeper, a handheld device which can be stowed in a pocket. the device runs by spiraling a coil of metal which as it unwinds will turn small cogs and gears to simulate the passage of time so that those venturing outside areas with illuminating fungus can tell what period it currently is. the device was met with great appreciation by miners for it's function, and by aristocrats who enjoy the novelty of it.
