Personal history
Michelle Ilyana Allarre d'Evreux was born in a forest to a wood elf mother and a human father. Her father was a powerful noble in a small human kingdom in Evermeet. She grew up in her father's palace.
Both of her parents died when she was young. Her father died in a bizzare event. Then, her mother was murdered, assassinated by order of her father's council of advisors who despised the idea of a "wild elf" woman running things. With no other family, she was left all alone. She was placed in the care of the palace servants, under the guardianship of the council, the same people responsible for her mother's death. Her guardians only cared for the power they could gain by manipulating her. The servants were kept at a distance from her; anyone who she got close to was either disciplined and removed from frequent contact with her or fired.
As she neared adulthood, she fell in love. However, her guardians did not approve of the relationship and, unbeknownst to her, had her love dealt with. She was heartbroken when she learned of her love's mysterious and untimely death.
Afterwards, her guardian arranged for her to be wed to his eldest son. Initially, she refused and defied her guardians, declaring that she was the one with the power and they could never force her to wed. In response, her "fiance" assaulted her, breaking her spirit. Her guardians continued with their plans for the wedding. Broken, with no one to turn to, she had no choice but to be wed. However, on their wedding night, before the marriage could be consummated, her husband died horrifically and with no apparent cause. Initially, her guardians were furious, believing that she had poisoned him. However, doctors and magicians confirmed that he wasn't poisoned and she was not responsible for his strange death.
However, as the marriage was not consummated, it was not valid in the eyes of the law, leaving her guardians plan incomplete. So, after waiting the minimal mourning period, they arranged for her to marry another of their sons. But, unexpectedly, at the celebration of the announcement of the engagement, her new fiance died.
After this, people began to believe that she was cursed, bringing death to those around her. Her guardians were hesitant to offer up another of their sons to be her husband, but it was necessary to complete their plans to seize power.
This hesitation allowed her a way out. She ran away and became a nun; a decision which no one could truly contest due to the circumstances. Thusly, she abandoned her home, her life, her family's legacy, her people, and even her name. She fled to the safety of the priesthood of Ioun where she thrived, going by her mother's old nickname for her, Misha. After her training and initiation, she became a Librarian in the Grand Library. But, after some time working there, she found she needed to work in the world, to explore and learn outside of the library. This is why she became a Cleric.
With the approval of the clergy, she headed to the Frozen Wastes in pursuit of this goal. Almost immediately upon her arrival, however, she was captured by a dragon. The dragon wasn't cruel, mostly just lonely and in want of validation as well as good conversation. She was kept as the dragon's "prisoner", well cared for and allowed full access to the dragon's collection of books, artifacts, and treasures in exchange for company. This continued for four months until a group of adventurer's arrived, intending to slay the dragon and rescue her. It took a good deal of talking down and negotiation, but Misha was able to make the adventurer's realize that the dragon wasn't hurting her. The fight was avoided and the adventurer's managed to convince the dragon that it would be cruel to force Misha to stay any longer. So, the dragon sent her back to civilization in the care of the adventurers. Her rescuers were the Ebonshield Guild, whom she befriended and decided to join after the incident.
Education
Her caregivers provided her with tutors who taught her the basics required for her to be a presentable young noblewoman - reading, writing, poetry, etiquette, and more. However, she also had access to her late father's grand library, which she used to learn everything she possibly could. Most of her ample freetime was spent reading and learning.
Upon entering the service of Ioun, she received even more education in more complex subjects and gained access to the Grand Library, where she had access to more books than any one half-elf could read in a lifetime. She tried though, and continued her delve into the materials of the library after becoming a full member of the clergy, a Sage of Ioun, taking up a role as a caretaker of the Grand Library
Mental Trauma
As a child, Misha witnessed the assassination of her mother, an event that severely traumatized her, leaving her mute for some time afterwards. She repressed her memory of that night for most of her childhood, until it was awoken by seeing the death of her husband, who died on the night of their forced wedding.
