Vendar Shalos has a mysterious and turbulent past. Raised as an orphan in a monastery, he learned of the Elven Goddess Sehanine Moombow and of his ancestral connection to the Moon Elves. After reaching early adulthood, he found himself wandering without direction until he met an agent of the Bloodshadows. In dire need of coin and stability, Vendar took contracts as a hired killer. During this time he learned how to be proficient in weaponry and thievery. Even though he was rather successful in this line of work, he became conflicted. As he matured, he considered the consequences of his actions and the shame it could bring to his ancestors. During a full moon a vision of impending doom came to him. He believes this was a sign from Sehanine and fled leaving his contract unfulfilled. Even though retribution from the Bloodshadows can come at any moment, Vendar decided to turn his back to the death and chaos he wove to the innocent and feeble. Coin is still tempting, and Vendar still has his skills for sale. Just as long as the mark is evil and of ill character. Under a full moon he prays to Sehanine for protection and success. Vendar tends to be nervous and superstitious under a new moon.
