They grew up in a human fishing family that was friendly with the local Otterfolk tribe. They grew up playing with otter pups. When they were orphaned at age 6 the Otterfolk adopted her and raised them as one of their own.

Otterfolk home schooling. This involves learning water environment lore, fishing, fighting, scouting/patrolling, swimming (fight, stealth, acrobatics in water)
