Captain Ali is someone who'd stand out in just about any room. He's exceptionally well coiffed and presented. It's clear he comes from people of great means and he makes no pretense at hiding this or his self-assuredness.
Adil was born on Mira to a very wealthy family with strong ties to the Church of the Icons so it may be a mystery to some why he leads the life he does; one of a wanderer and mercenary. Adil isn't very forthcoming with explanations either. The truth is his family sent him away for some unknown reason. He might have gone farther distance-wise but he couldn't possibly go any further culturally and economically than Errai.
Adil's Description and Mannerisms
The fact that Adil comes from privilege and wealth is readily apparent to anyone who views him. He keeps himself exceptionally well-dressed and well coiffed. His self-assuredness also shines through in everything he does but no more than when he is in conversation with others. As a negotiator, he has a commanding presence and tone that help him come out on top of most discussions.
Adil is not much of one for physical combat. He carries a small knife which too is indicative of his wealthy background as it is a Mercurian blade. He can also pick up a pistol if necessary but he prefers to avoid combat if he can. Instead, he's become a very good tactician and he channels his leadership skills to direct his comrades where they might best attack or defend.
Crew of the XQ-TC-1215
Position - captain
Adil is still getting used to his crewmates but he's already formed some opinions.
- Ish - Adil grew appreciative of the enthusiastic soldier right away because Ish's skill set can be very useful to any crew.
- Oasim - Adil considers the eccentric medic to be a liability and doubts greatly that will change.
- Pints - Adil likes Pints' good-willed nature and positive outlooks.
- Red - While he appreciates Red's bravado and aggressive approach to most things, Adil feels these will need to be tempered before the pilot can be his best self.
- Akeel - Captain Ali doesn't trust Akeel and believes there's good reason not to. Adil trusts his benefactor only so much and Akeel is that man's man on board. Akeel might as well call himself a spy.
