E.G.O. has very few memories before they were found in a strange pod in the wreckage of the battle of Craysilt. They couldn’t even remember their own name, so the scholars from the bardic colleges tasked with researching this strange being dubbed them “Extratellusian Gelatinous Organism”, or E.G.O. Being among the scholars in the early days of their awakening as they tried to figure out what precisely they were instilled a strong desire for order and truth in EGO. Since there was little information to be found about themself, E.G.O. tries to promote it in the world around them. After acclimatizing to their new surroundings EGO began working alongside the town watch, developing strong investigative skills as they observed and worked alongside them investigating crimes. EGO eventually branched off on their own and started working as a private investigator but still consults with the local watch regularly. E.G.O. has a sharp mind for deciphering clues, and their unique physiology made it easy to access places that “solids” can’t reach, making it easier to listen in on conversations and gather evidence.
E.G.O still has trouble at times relating to the people of their new home. Their brusque no-nonsense attitude rubs people the wrong way sometimes and can make them seem aloof and unapproachable. He doesn’t have much appreciation for joking around, preferring to focus completely on their tasks. EGO can become hyper fixated on a case, and will pursue a mystery relentlessly until its solved. Ego has a strong sense of justice, and pursuing the truth above all is their guiding principle.
