Philip Hartman

Philip's life has been hardened and shaped by the 100 year's war, like a sword perfected and sharpened in a Blacksmith's forge. Scarred and sobered from the experience, he clings to his mission, searching for his lost friend.

The major events and journals in Philip's history, from the beginning to today.

Journal Log Entry #237 Still no sight, yet. Only average information on Cyrian Refugee locations. Nothing on Cyre yet. Work went well. I'm grateful for it, it keeps my mind off of things. Usually. Sometimes. It's...a mixed bag. Like the group. Thuranne gave us the opportunity to clear our name's in the public eye. Which...didn't really need clearing in the first place since we were too busy taking down one of DAASK's captains to even realize Vilroy was taken. Still, important work, and we made some interesting connections to get the info we needed. Possibly being part of a gang is better than being in the war, and it can give me more access to information. I'm not complaining. The artifacts and scrolls are worrisome. I want to know how DAASK somehow got their hands on something like that, but that's for another day. They're still in our hands, and Vilroy's safe. The group keeps my mind off of things too. I hope Staff's alright. He's been sent to check out the recent warforged riots. He's amiable and strong, and I've never encountered a warforged as friendly as him. If anyone can calm them, he can. I just hope it doesn't get him hurt. He's saved my life before, and I hope to return the favor. I want to help "friend-Staff" find his creator. Just like...my friend. Sage wasn't with us either. Something to do with gathering intel. I wonder how stealthy she really is considering her bold personality. I still have no idea where she gets all of her energy from (maybe the drugs Amir took). She reminds me a bit of myself sometimes, and I wish her luck and discernment. Amir is a....character. I feel like I'm either babysitting or listening to the teaching of a veteran around him, there is no in-between. He's got a good heart, despite all of the chicken blood he has on his hands. I wonder about the countless experiences he's had in life. I wonder how he faces them. Havnen's an ingenious fighter. Dropped on those bandits before I could even think of inflict wounds. He seems a bit reckless, but it takes guts to dive in like that. I just hope he doesn't get in over his head. Roven's gotten me to crack a smile almost as much as Staff has. I think he lets his brain get in the way of his own ideas though. Excellent planner. I remember when I used to be that open. Hope he keeps to that. Leutrick's got gusto, I give him that. Him and his...parasite? Whatever his weapons are made out, they're definitely striking. I wonder why he's working for Thuranne. It's been a while since I haven't been alone with my thoughts. ........The company is appreciated. -Philip
