Background
Shifty is the best at disguise this side of the Khazard Kingdom. At least this is what he tells people. Shifty is highly skilled in impersonating any humanoid he has observed. In the Pavis-Pavia Thieves Guild, Shifty is a 10 of Hearts but also a senior trainer in the arts of Impersonation and Disguise.
Character Specifics
Shifty appears most of the time to be a Human Rogue of about middle age. He is in fact a Doppelganger. and is openly proud of it, being respected by the Guild for his insights into and mastery of disguise. He is often called upon to use his ESP to determine the truth of what others are saying in Guild discussions and as a type of scout to help Rogues more accurately impersonate people on missions.
AC 5 HP 23 HD 4 Saves as a 10th level Warrior.
Note: Shifty is neutral and quite brave for a Doppelganger he has long loved being around humans and is happy with his position of influence and power in the Guild. He is rarely known to leave the Guildhall - but then, who would know.
