Arius Moonstride is a resolute and honorable young half-elf. His intentions are noble and his character was built from principle.

Arius' mother came from a beautiful human town named Emitalos. However, the town was destroyed after a long 3 year war with the calarian empire and resulted in the relocation of its inhabitants. She and a group of others escaped as refugees, having to march through the forests for weeks just to find some sign of help. They then came across a squad of wood elves who had been keeping an eye on them ever since they stepped foot into their territory. The wood elves were hasty to help the humans at first but after they learned of their intentions, they bought them back and took care of them as if they were their own. This is where she met arius' dad, the leader of the Crescent Stride military.
 
Arius Moonstride comes from a clan of wood elves who dedicate their lives to the goddess of the moon, Selûne. His father was one of the chiefs in this clan and the leader of their samurai-esque military. From an early age his father taught him and his older brothers how to use a katana and a longbow proficiently. However, Arius' father noticed that he wasn't such a natural with a sword but performed at an almost masterful level with a longbow. Soon after, Arius exceeded the potential of most of the archers in his ranks and became one of the most talented in their unit. After some years, the clan encountered an unbeatable threat known as the Calarian Empire. The clan of wood elves were forced to surrender to the Calarian Empire and were forced to do their bidding. For his clans safety, Arius' father stated that Arius was to offer his services to the Calarian Empire and travel to Kialis.
