The Occult of Quresh

by Freyja

We left the College of Ouroboros and straight out into the winter heat ...
I travelled how I normally do, from above and away from crowds. It's not that I don't like them ... but when chaos ensues the crowds become a hinderance rather than a help.

Some Piotism preacher was spreading his silly rhetoric of Soltyr ... I interupted it by throwing a heavy pot down onto a spice cart. Ha! Sent spice everywhere, that shut him up.

We sought refuge at an Inn. Samael did the predictable. Magick something something. Bleghk. Anyway he failed. Veronica then just decided to up and leave. I followed, naturally, not that I let her know this. She went to several places around the city ... it seemed like she was looking for something but couldn't find it. Finally she settles upon the Abbey of Lady Sitra ... she was there for, what? Almost 2 hours?

She finally emerged out and I JUST beat her back. The boys were missing though, turns out they got bored and sought out some adventure ... they definitely found it, and IT found Samael's face.

Turns out Veronica is in a cult ... of Quresh? Duh ... of course she is. She didnt tell us because she didnt want to rope in innocents. Ha! Innocents! Im SO innocent ...

Finally something useful ... so we have to go to some Veilkeep? ...

We travelled there by night, with the cube I went and collected from the vault. Their security was lacking, I snuck in myself whilst the others were simply let in.

We met ... Marwan, Veronica's contact, along with some Occult people ... Lady Seraphina Ashcroft ... Karya Turan ... they believed the device to be the key to a door that would hold a power strong enough to end this war on Magick. I put up my defences and let them work for it ... we came to an agreement, but I am not letting this out of my site ... something about it does not feel right, even as someone who cannot feel magick.

We have been instructed that this door is on the desert though ... ugh ... sand ... snow's inadequate cousin ...
