Some festival...

Dear Ma,
 
So far, things are not going as planned. I wanted to avoid drawing attention to myself, yet somehow I got picked to star in some grand event for Jiglow's merit festival. I only participated in a few of the games and didn't even do that well. Luckily there is a pretty hefty reward if my team wins. Which reminds me, I am not only being made to compete in this huge contest, I "get" to work along side a bunch of people I happened across throughout the day. Some of them seem alright. This one guy, Armani I think, seems really fancy, and I might be able to not only make some money off of him, but he has a big clockwork with him. I might learn a thing or two. I am a little worried about another of my team mates, Ciarán. I don't think he likes me and I think he's some kind of soldier from the war.. We'll see. I haven't gotten to know the rest of my team yet though. Maybe tonight at the tavern.
 
In good news, I got to test one of my newer critters. The stitcher spider worked perfectly. I have a few improvements I want to make but I'm definitely going to make more for down the line.
