A Farewell to Beacon

Shadow's Respite: A release from the Shadow of the rings over the valley.
 
Father and I go and get a Beacon fried specialty: a fry bread with magical berry compote. YUM!! We meet up with a client and I am given a job that will take me out of town. I am a little bit scared to be venturing on my own, and have some trepidation about the whole thing, but I know that it will be for the best if I head out.
 
I take a train to the city of Rich Banks. What a wonderful place it is! Drunks everywhere! Taverns EVERYWHERE! Lovely people to play cards with, as well! I meet up with an Aarakokra woman Phyllis and learn of what my job will be: transporting things to another town. On my way out, I pass by a stable and procure a horse. She will be a great friend, I'm sure!
