Giya - goddess of the Earth. made a declaration, tired of abusing mortals. They are forbidden from meddlin with human lives. one case where a god proke the rule. The god pan (god of nature) demanded retribution for deforestation. smited a mayor. Giya turned Pan into a tree. Killing Pan. After that, the village was overrun with forest. returning it to its natural state.
