My Purpose

I was created for a reason.
 
I was created by Kyriad to serve a specific purpose, to help those in need whilst I travel the world. However during my travels, I met a man named Jack atlas who was working as a caravan guard and he asked me for aid when a merchant was murdered. I followed the attacker for several days before catching up with them and putting an end to their murderous ways by force when they would not come quietly. The only problem with this was when I returned to the town to tell Jack of my completion of his task, I found that he had been a keu witness in proving an innocent man innocent. I had also heard that Jack, The Elf suspect, and the Elf's Lawyer had all skipped town to travel the world in search of adventure.
 
This was over a year ago now, and to my surprise I had seen an advertisement for a tavern in which was opened by a man named Strahl Costin. when I first read the name I recognized it, but couldn't quite put a face to the name until later that night when I had went to sleep. Kyriad gave me a vision in my dreams of a picture which had jogged my memory, Strahl was the man who had been a lawyer for Jack, so maybe he knows where Jack is so I can inform him of my completion of his task. I am currently writing this whilt aboard a merchant ship which is heading into the city where this tavern opened.
 
I hope I can locate Jack and tell him of my success in tracking down the real killer of that merchant from over a year ago.
