FINAL ARRANGEMENTS IN FORTAARE
Zin finishes ordering the ship and makes sure to visit Alissia.
Olo checks on Tevye’s beer garden and it is doing quite well. He plants Hydrangeas because they remind him of home. He also scrys (visual) on Tremella: she is doing well – looks like she is heading to the Comgaugh Mountains.
Talice met with her benefactor, got a reward for work she was doing. Advised to keep doing what she is doing, and keep watching the targets. She also received a Dagger of Warning.
Ash describes Tremella to Captain Puredream and asks if he has seen her visit Leonar. He recognizes Tremella but not as someone connected to Leonar. He hasn’t seen anything suspicious relating to her. He also does not recall seeing anyone that can possibly be Leonar’s Bride. He let Ash search Leonar’s belongings and we find Dwarven Tomes, lots of mention of Lord Z, and the inverted Iona’s symbol which represents Lord Z. Ash gives them to Olo.
Ash buys cool outfits and hats 5 gp, 10gp, 1 gp. Gives a pair of leather gloves to Game.
Ash suggests they take Game of Chance to Phalai for training. Everyone agrees and they drop him off at Phalai.

ATTACKED BY PIRATES
Two keel boats attacked them. The gang defeated them, took one ship apart. Eli tickled them with a tentacle rod, Ash and Zin told them how much they suck at being pirates and should find a different job, Olo waggled his finger at them. Took names, literally, and tossed them back on to one boat with barely some clothes, one knife, some good-berries and some water.
The Comgaugh Mountains
They arrive at a port directly under a mountain in the lively city of Thar Boram: epic city, heat from the mines, metal clanging sounds, chatting, stone cutting sounds. Constant din of noise, rhythmic like the heartbeat of the Mountains.
The people seem to not like anyone not a dwarf, any outsiders. There are three inns we managed to find out: The Misty Willow, The Narrow Trunk, The Twin Sign. But we eventually found a fourth: The Far Star – Zin led them there. There are A LOT of Dwarves, not particularly pleased to see outsiders. Ash buys a round of beer for everyone. Olo gets the second round.
However, people only really react to Zin, and only when he speaks Dwarvish. He gets us rooms, for 1gp each, much reduced from 5gp each as given outsiders decent treatment is frowned upon.
Zin finds out that there is something called the Isdean Fighting Pit.

ELIJAH IS KNOWN
Eli is invited by Ash and Olo to visit the fighting pit. He refuses and Olo asks him what’s up. He feels odd and somewhat upset but is unsure why. The rest of us leave. Zin gets even drunker as Ash begs him to come along so that he can help get her into the fighting pits.
Eli is alone at the bar and asks for a beer but the barkeep ignores him. He notices a bearded, Dwarven lady staring daggers at him but he ignores her and keeps trying to order a beer but it is as if he does not exist, the barkeep does not acknowledge him.
The lady tells him that the barkeep cannot hear him. He asks her to get him a beer, in exchange for one for her too. She ignores that and says that it is answers that Eli wants. And refers to him as Elijah. She does not reveal her name but tells him that he must go to the library, down towards the underdark. He asks her to show him the way but she responds that she cannot be seen, period. However, she draws a symbol on a napkin and gives it to him: it is an arcane seal. It is familiar to Eli but he cannot place it, but it has something to do with who he is.
She says to Elijah that he will need support and permission from the King. As she creaks and wobbles to the door, Eli compliments her stately beard.
He is finally able to order a beer.

THE ISDEAN FIGHTING PITS
Ash asks Zin to please help her out as the dwarves respond somewhat favourably to him. The smell and sounds of the fighting pit is nostalgic to her. Zin, being sloshed, finds the meanest, baddest guy and insults him on Ash’s behalf, unbeknownst to her.
The big dwarf guy, with massive fists, beckons her to a fight. Seeing him shake the ground with his fist intimidates Ash but she thinks she might be able to win. She, however, threatens Zin for picking the biggest guy. And this guy is big, guys. He is huge. He is taller than a Firbolg and he is a frekin dwarf.
The first hit that Ash lands breaks the guy’s rib but he flexed and pushed it back in place… by flexing. Wtf.
Match point, the tie breaker looms…. Ash lands the final punch and breaks the poor guy’s jaw! The crowd is silent and then… the crowd roars. She shouts: FOR ISDEA! And offers a hand to her challenger who compliments her fighting abilities. New friend! Finally!
