Gnolling in the Deep

by Bask Conleth

We left Port Galliese two days ago. We made it to the river, after camping in a nice grotto. We reached a village called Riverbend that was, apparently, a little off the beaten path. We stayed the night in a tavern run by a Tabaxi named Tabitha. The village was attacked by gnolls, but we killed them pretty quickly. Nobody got hurt, and none of them got away. The construct worked great! He's performed so well. At this point I think he needs a name, because I don't think he's quite a prototype anymore. Rustle gave me an onion - don't really know what to do with that, since it'll go bad eventually. Maybe I'll use it to spice up dinner one night.

The mayor paid us a good chunk of money for our work - I'm not sure how much. He's also trying to find us a cart. I grabbed a flask, some cups, and a padlock and key at the general store. I need a bedroll. My neck still hurts from sleeping on my bag.

Rustle has a bit of trouble carrying stuff. Maybe I'll make him a bag of holding - but then I'd have to give up the enchantment on my shield. I've done a pretty good job not getting hurt, but I hate to see what happens if I do need to move the enchantment off the bag.
