The Forest and the Fog

by Anduro Taeri

We started travelling through the forest with Blue in the lead.

There are underbrushes everywhere. It doesn't seem normal, overgrown but everything seems to have a place or almost a design, a will all to its own.

Something seems off though. There are birds that shouldn't be here, animals that have been driven from the coast, and the weather seems supernatural.

We saw not one but two twisting devils which almost appeared to attack us and move with a mind all to itself.

We stumbled upon a small disagreement, and broke up the argument. Apparently there was a disagreement about a debt, but violence was not tolerated well by Blue, who chased one of the boys down. We took them both to the refugee camp, who pointed us in a new direction to find an answer to what has caused the woodland to be tormented.

The young man's name was Bryce, and we helped guide him to justice, both with fair wisdom from Blue and justice from his people. A bit barbaric but to judge is not my place.

A stench from the west, the goblin camp must be near. We saw a scout with a wolf briefly, which means we must be getting closer. A dream from many nights haunts me, and I am strangely drawn to their camp but can't remember exactly why.

The refugees have had brief skirmishes, and maybe it's time we help with a solution.

We later engaged with a scouting party of Goblins in the rocks, and while my contributions were not graceful, we managed to dispatch the troublemakers so they could cause no more issue for the forest, but we must press on to find their camp.

The fog stands tall and wide, and obscures the path, but we will press on...
