New findings

So i think i might do longer entries, then every day ones. So far things have good semi smoothly if you can call it that. We manage to kill what best can be described as a hell frog… and it had a magic crystal that seem to heal it( more on that latter )
 
We manage to not kill one of the resistances and she dislikes these masked fiend worshippers??? So she is helping us get closer to the camp and she is doing a good job at it. We only got into one fight but this one was kinda unavoidable it seems, a group of 12 ish resistance members seem to have captured a snake person… not the oddiest thing i have seen so fuck it. We manage to kill them and save what I know as a very large Yuan-ti Pureblood named Utsulu, she is a nice person but has a more… flirtatious personality to say the least. She seems to be a bard but one that studies how to use her words and musical instrument to cast spells( interesting )
 
I learned a few stuff about Sasha, she joined the guard a few months ago because her family got attacked on her farm, i don't know if any of her family is alive. She also dislikes me having that crystal on me( I get why this item should not be taken lightly ) but the researcher in me can't just destroy this item, what threw me off guard was the word she said when i told her why i still have it “ you remind me of him and i want to strange you . then she wanted to move on. I think I remind her of a past family member or lover. Maybe that's why she is trying to… protect me for this item?
 
 
For a paladin Zuriel is not a over zelous type( thank God ). Hopefully if she were find out she won't try to end me.
 
The crystal i manage to snag seems to be is divine and necrotic power ( something I thought should not be possible but magic proves me wrong ). It seems to be a cleric or paladin spell casting focus but tainted by dark magic. In the first day of having it on me it manages to melt all my food so now i'm out and need to use some of the others. It also has a odd property for a holy focus. I held it in my hard and threw a basic cantrip fired at a tree I manage to find out I can also use it as a focus, my marking work fine for me tho. It scared me that it a amplifier for necrotic spells way past what it normally does. What I know of this gem it healed the hell frog with every time it pulse like a heartbeat beat. The fact I can interact with it scares me cause I think I have a idea where my magic comes from. This makes me want to use them less but I can't with what I seem to out myself into… o well I guess.

In the last fight I manage to miss every single spell I cast. And Altair hit all of his…. For a older brother I suck at trying to be a good source of inspiration. I hate this magic but I need to master it so I can do good but missing every spell as you see your younger brother hit all of his does not help. I just need to put on a confident face and hope don't over do it on spells.
