Session 4ish- Investigation in Sigil

  • We head to the Harmonium’s guildhall

  • We immediately lie to the receptionist and ask to speak with the investigator

  • There’s dust and white powder mixed in, surrounding a footprint, underneath a book called something like “Problem on Harmonium Street”

  • The victim had robes

  • The white powder is talcum powder

  • Crime Scenes:

  • The Hovel on Blood Boil

  • The Bunkhouse on Powder’s Row

  • The Asencion Drinking Hall

  • The City Court Library

  • Harmonium Street

  • The Parted Veil Bookshop

  • We meet Facial Hashkar, a higher-up

  • Keluk, the bookshop victim, was a member of the Athar

  • The Library Victim was a member of The Facals: Murked by 4 slashes by a large sword

  • One of the Dabus is cleaning the same book repeated: powers and demi powers, the bloodstains being on divine ascension.

  • There was black pearl dust- from some necromantic spell

  • Kesto, the bookshop owner, might know about talc because it’s used for paper storage

  • Some of the other scrolls that Fassal had were essentially trade reports

  • Some of the victims were claimed to have been missing body parts

  • One victim was still alive and “Named their Killer”

  • Talc is stored in Gossif’s Paints, Penbrum’s Parchments and papers,

  • We meet Hovel, a sketchy half-elf who tells us their crimes

  • A confident and wild-haired man is following us

  • The bookstore victim was a githzerai with a paper pinned to their clothes

  • The Murderer drained red planar energy from the corpse

  • “Chaos is the only law, washed clean in the blood of order”

  • The Mercykillers are known as the Red Death

  • The Woman was from the Harbinger House
