The first stop on my journey to seek out the other two members of the prophecy was this expansive temperate forest populated by a wide array of flora and fauna, some of which were familiar to me and countless others which were completely foreign to me. The forest is host to countless flowering trees, the air heavy with the smell of fresh and fermenting fruits on which numerous creatures relied for food. If Syl'thenal is the fortress of Sylvanus then surely this vibrant blossoming expanse is enveloped in Chauntea's loving embrace. Though our first endeavor into the forest was uneventful save a troop of monkeys who took a liking to us, I later learned the bountiful canopy conceals a plethora of threats ranging from Owl Bears to Ghouls and a seemingly never ending variety of poisonous life. Our trek through the veil of fruiting trees was short, as with my brother guiding our path, navigation was child's play in comparison to the twisting labyrinth of our home. We quickly stumbled across the first road we would ever walk and it conveniently lead us directly to the front gates of our destination, the towering stone walls of Gleanhold
