Settling In

Siti, stomach full from a good meal, lays curled up in bed, ready for her master and friend to join her. But something needs to be handled before that. Sitting down at the desk provided in the room, Sky takes a sheet of paper and an inked quill, and begins writing.

I arrived in the city of Novandria a week ago, and have spent that time learning the layout of this city and currently I find lodgings at a location called the Skybound Inn. Many interesting people I have come across and met in the short time I have been here, many of such are fascinated to learn more about our beautiful country. I am still in search of a proper cup of coffee, and if one of our merchants opened up shop here, they would likely become quite wealthy once the quality of our preparation and beans were sampled. As I was warned, the climate here is much wetter than I am used to, which has made staying comfortable a challenge.
 
This city is full of secrets, much like the ruins of home. I will begin in earnest to locate the traveling professor that was recommended to me, in the coming days. I have not been blessed to have come upon them yet, so I am beginning to suspect that I have arrived here before them. I look forward to finding them, and making their great acquaintance. I hope that they will be amenable to sharing long company with me as I am certain, given what you have said, that we have much we can discuss. I will write more as I expand my knowledge, and I look forward to receiving any messages you may have acquired for me.
