The Outcome of the Red Sky

by Aphelios

We found out that Finnon’s grandfather gave his life to protect his daughter. What a tragedy, if you ask me. The sky burning red in the middle of the night. His father, however, survived the attack. At least, he didn’t lose his whole family and that warms my heart. In a way, Finnon reminds me of you, Aluna. He’s a free, kindred spirit that aims to protect those around him.
Little did the reunion last, for an angry mob surrounded the mad alchemist, blaming him for the monsters of fire that took so many of our little village. I managed to pass through a bunch of them and when I got my eyes on him, the man was devastated; his trembling hands trying to hold the corpse of his dead wife. But that seemed to matter little to my fellow villagers. They were blinded by this fear and anger, too overwhelming to handle. If not for Galar, he would probably be executed for a crime that clearly he did not committed.

The survivors made use of an old caravan and will use to find their way towards Yondar, a village to the West.
We helped them take care of the people that succumbed to the wounds, ending the small ceremony with one of his ever-so-beautiful speeches. Quite an inspiring leader. I couldn’t ask for a better fat—mentor.

From the stories that I’ve heard, I thought that the brothers of this order were strong enough to defend themselves from these kind of enemies. Quickly, the quiet turned to shock... there’s a spiral made of ash. I— *trembling writing*

1. Waves in the destroyed statue - a small sphere that held something inside. Maybe a magic item?

2. Maybe it’s the item inside of the box - an item with an aura of abjuration and an aura of evocation and an aura of transmutation - three potions (one is white and yellow (abjuration), water sparkling (evocation) inside and one potion with spider legs (transmutation).

I reached out to the moon before falling into the world of dreams. They have been silent for almost four months now. Not today. I—saw her, my sister. I could feel the tears running down my face. I wanted to talk to her, to tell her how much I miss her. But no word seemed to fell from my lips. I looked at her, clearly sad and desperate... only to find her smiling at me. And then, she whispered:

“In your path, Aphelios, you’ll find a spirit that wishes to find the blessing of freedom. I need you to guide him to his peaceful rest.”
