Our Meeting

Ahinar asked me to join her at a summons from Jamandi Aldori, a Knight of Holy Shielding. Aldori and her allies have decided to sponsor adventuring parties into the Bandit Kingdoms and The Horned Society. At the manor, we met a bard named Queue-Anna, a warlock named Jonah, a Gnome wizard named Flimp and a paladin named Frank. We also met Amiri, a rather large Barbarian woman, Linzi a halfling Bard and Valeria, a rather attractive fighter. I asked the castellan about the temple and he told me to check at Oleg's Trading Post for more information, but he believes there was a temple as I described in one of the areas we are being sponsored to go to. After dinner and some time relaxing we all bedded down. I had a strange dream about a green toothed hag named Jenny talking to an Evil I believe she called "Baba". At some point I awoke to an armed assassin trying to enter my room. I will not boor you with details but I defeated my attacker and rallied with the party of adventurers. We decided to attempt to clear the manor of assassins and find a way out as the manor was surrounded by a large thorny growth that I am unable to recognize. We found a few survivors, mainly Lawrence or Larry, who decided to accompany us with his longbow. We cleared each level of the manor finding more dead and several more assassins, the lady of the manor and her castellan were both found abed with their throats slit. Frank died trying to get a locked chest out of a room. The idiot didn't realize we could come back for it. We had our biggest fight at the telescope that was owned by Lucus, a supposedly powerful mage. Once we defeated the creatures at the telescope and having lost Valeria and Lawrence we decided we could take a rest as the manor was cleared. That is when we all woke up and realized the ordeal we had been through had just been a horrible dream. I am intrigued to find this hag, Jenny, to find out how she was able to enter our minds and produce such a real experience. However first we must find the temple and if we need to work with these knights in order to accomplish that then so be it.
