I Joined WHAT?!?!

So tonight things got weird.
 
A couple weeks ago I was bored. When I was living with Hossenfeffer he had contact info for the LFER and I may or may not have... liberated it when I left. I was sitting around and thinking about my parents and all the shit they went through when the IERA destroyed my dad's life and so, without even thinkin', I call up the contact info and ask if they need help. They asked what I could do and why I wanted to help. It passed the evening. Never thought about it again. Until they freakin' CALLED BACK!
 
So they said they needed someone of my "talents" and I get an address. I head on over there. Walking down the sidewalk outside the building I almost get beaned by a falling alarm clock! I bring up the veil, unfurl the wings and head up to see where the clock came from. Standing there is some lady with claws the length of my arm (pretty though), a guy with metal wings and armor, and, I shit you not, a TALKING TREE!
 
All I know is they had two prisoners, they were from the LFER, and they needed help getting out of the building unseen. Unseen is sorta a specialty of mine. I get them out of there. We dump the bodies in an alley somewhere and decide to head to the safe house. Never seen a safe house before. Should be interesting.
 
Oh, the tree, I think his name was Timber, talked funny. So did the lady, Honery Badger, but it was a different funny. Nightwing, that's the one with the wings (DUH!), he sounded normal.
