“Ah, my dear you had asked last night about me and I promised you that I would tell all about me after our dance upon the dance floor and our late night dance where we are now. If you will hand me that cup of wine, I shall fulfill my promise..
I was born on the road somewhere between Damcyan and Waltz. My mother, as you know, was part of the Azure Raven’s dance troupe and had spent time with several men along the road at various times and the result was her having me next to a beautiful waterfall. Mother gave me the best life possible not actually having a home to settle and grow up in. Please hand me the berries if you do not mind, my dear.
As I grew up, Mother recognized that I had the same talent for a tad bit of magics along with the grace and poise of a dancer, so she trained me as much as she could until I was 13. She contacted an old friend in Damcyan, Forelo Yosi, who is the father of now my best friend Yosisi. Forelo took me in as part of his theatre troupe and began training me officially as a Dancer. He was remarkable with his dance and his use of daggers. He had a flair for the dramatic as well, using his innate magical talents to blend in with his routine. Flawless, beautiful, and unmatched. Oh, not at beautiful as you my dear, but beauty in his form I should mean. I spend about three years there learning from him along with traveling a bit with Mother and her dancers. Yosisi and I were his prized students and even developed a routine specifically for our talents together. WE still perform it a few times a year but she and I tend to be the loner types so, we dance, we argue, we make up and we go our separate ways until the next time. It’s quite a dance in itself now that I think about it. It is unlike the dance we shared last night, but entertaining none the less.
Mother retired last year and opened up The Blue Shadow. When she stopped being on the road, she gave me her Chochram. Magnificent isn’t it. She claimed she was given this by a man who crafted it for her saying it would bring her good luck and good fortune. She never knew the man’s name but always remembered his smile. I was most proud of her as she has always wanted a place where aspiring dancers could come, be trained by the best, and also a place where those who are down on their luck would be treated with respect, kindness, and a tad bit of the healing arts as Mother is vey talented when it comes to that. As you well know my dear. I would suggest that you be more careful out in the wilderness next time.
I could continue to talk about myself for the next few days hahaha, but we have more dancing to do here before I must take my leave of you and head to the Harvest of the Pyreflies. I hear that it is most spectacular, now my dear.. where were we…”
