P. T. Barnum

Interesting players.

by Phineas T. Barnum

The trip that i drunkenly signed up for way more than I thought it was. a full-blown 6-month tour of the Underdark in fact. The realization that I would not be seeing the sun for a while set in about the second... day? cycle? how does one tell time down here? the plus side is that the merry band of adventures more than makeup for the lack of scenery. even with my dark vision, I can tell that cave after cave is not that interesting.

Out of the party, I definitely have my eye on the fairy, the minotaur, and the drow. you don't often see a drow not fighting with magic in an underhanded way. almost like a knight of old born to darkness but with a heart unable to bend to unpure ways! The fairy mystifies me, what would one from the mystical fey wild want in the mortal realm, a missing item? a call to adventure? the need for a better fashion sense? no matter it will be interesting to see what she does next. and the minotaur. an ancient and bastard race ready to reclaim what is his no matter the danger. his story will be one to tell.

once we stopped in place I found a wonderful freak of the underdark that i later learned was a xorn. a creature hungry for money (quite literally) unable t understand at first I was not able to capitalize on the opportunity. but the next "day" the fairy and I set out a welcome mat.

It looks as if I'll be heading out to improve relations in the near future as we've been contacted by a local animal trader. I do hom=pe all he sells is animals. I don't want ot have to deal with a slaver.
