Hat of Wizardry

After returning to Phandalin, I feel guilty for not providing the magical hat I acquired at Gnomengarde to Harbin as requested, however, I believe this Hat of Wizardry and it's magical ability could be useful against the imminent battle to come. During the rest at the local inn, Zook writes a simple journal entry:

Leaving Gnomengarde was like leaving home, what a relief. I acquired a Hat of Wizardry, allowing me access to even more magic. Persistent dreams of danger, dragons, and death continue to occur, more so lately. Tonight I will conduct a ritual ceremony to communicate with my patron before leaving for Big Al's Ranch. I intend to save this town, dragons be damned.
