Miracle

According to the note that was found it was determined that a banshee was roaming around somewhere. In anticipation of this, the bright idea of having ear plugs was suggested. Since I didn't need as many candles as I thought I might, due to my awesome goggles, I volunteered one.
Even with the ear plugs in I succumbed to the banshee wail, don't know what happened next. Was awakened by Flicker, thankful to see a familiar face and be alive. Oh no, somethings not right, I see mouths moving but I don't hear anything. That devil spawned banshee took my hearing. How am I going to be a thief if I can't hear? How can I fight in a team if I can't hear the changes in battle? How do I protect them if I can't hear danger approaching? I'm losing it, why's my face wet? Am I crying? No, no that's just sweat. Here comes Flicker, did she notice? I see her mouth moving but nothing I hear nothing. She puts her hands on my ears, and sound glorious sound invades my mind. I can hear! What a miracle!
