Fleshlings are odd

After spending some time retrieving a young fleshling I have noticed something curious. I have not been around others since I awakened and I am experiencing strange bodily responses when some of them speak, particularly the one wearing armor who grew from the same sprout as the other, or whatever happened between them. Multiple times he has directly referred to me and requested unnecessary information, not only that but he is constantly speaking. The fleshling rattles on until something makes it unable to speak, it makes me feel strangely unwell in some mental sense. I do not understand this response but perhaps he is poisonous to me in some way since the sickness only comes when his mouth is open, perhaps some kind of gas? I will need to be wary about this possible threat in the future
