Where there's a way the universe will mess with you

Why is it that I am so quiet and shy? The guy I was developing feelings for is taken but that is all my own fault. I mean what would he ever see in me anyway. I am not glamourous like Mel, nor am I exotic like Zhosa. I am just a chubby little Sulustan whose only real skill is piloting. It seems the only time people want to listen to me is when it comes to flying the ship, at least recently.
 
The past few days I am either throwing myself into my work to hide my feelings or crying silently in my room where no one will hear me. I don't think I have gotten a very good night's sleep in the past week or two. I think I am going to need to start taking something to help me sleep or I am likely to make a mistake on the hyper jump and take us through a sun or something.
