Samira Ayad-Hakim

Samira Ayad-Hakim was..a lot to deal with as a child. She grew up as an only child in a small village in the south. As the only 'girl' in the village at the time, they were constantly spoiled and coddled by the adults around her. As Samira grew older their parents began to encourage her to settle down and get married, but Samira had never seen that as the way of life for herself. They instead, joined a covenant that worshipped Aurelia, She of the Way of Light. It is in this covenant that Samira began to discover her true Aasimar heritage. Aurelia sent visions of herself to Samira, saying that they were descended from celestials and were fated to hold the power of celestials themself. Upon hearing this news, Samira immediately left the covenant and began her new life under the guidance of Aurelia. She became known for her beauty as well as the power gifted to her by Aurelia in exchange for protecting and helping those in need. Of course, Samira was able to get more than just power out of their negotiations, and was also given a pair of wings like her goddess.
Samira however never quite gave up her vapid and selfish behaviour, still preferring to leave the heavy lifting to others as she floats serenely at the edge of battles, healing those who come to them.
