Turning to Stone

After defeating the Gnolls we search for a place in the forest with some trees so we can hide. We find one and setup the camp after which ... tells us a story about why Loki is allowed to celebrate both fathers-day as well as mothers-day.
At the start of the night, when the party was just asleep, we where attacked by frost snake like creatures. I completely missed them and only noticed when ... woke screaming because one of them attacked him. I look up onto the eyes of one of those creatures and am immediately frozen. I hear Grimm yell that we shouldn't look them in the eyes (a bit too late for me). I cast mirror image on myself to make it difficult for them to attack me, but I feel the freezing cold running up through my vanes until I'm completely frozen and I can't move at all anymore.
