Job - Bear Folk

send an envoy to make contact with bear-folk in the amnesia woods - Forge Master - expedition leader, specifically the chief religious attaché.

day 1 - feel a breeze, but tree's aren't moving. Rufin wants to detect magic - detects Glog's magic aura
 
Khudak and Leanna went to look for food, found paw prints - Khudak thinks its a padded paw print with claws - not worth hunting so they turn back
 
Glog dug a hole for himself to sleep in
 
First night watches:
BB & Kitty - watch 1: a lot of high flying birds in the moon light as they fly across the
sky, heading towards the forest
Glog - watch 2: staring out to space and sharping his weapons - notices nothing
 
BB found a rabbit for us to share, and we talked about bird people
 
slowly walking towards destination, Encounter with a Boar and Tiger.
 
BB hits it with a hand crossbow
Leanna tries to entangle them both with "difficult" terrain
Boar trips, but gets free and charges BB

Tiger and boar died - no one was seriously injured. Staying and setting up camp - to process the meat so it doesn't go bad and it can last a while. Leanna helps Glog prep the hide for the tanner
 
after a rest we hit the road again
 
Night two -
Leanna took first watch, didn't really notice much, tended to the fire. I hear a
struggle but its unclear and not alarming
Rufin took second watch - noticed NOTHING, but no attack
 
Day three - last day to the edge of the woods to find the bear-folk
Made it to the woods and in a little ways, and found the largest tree we have ever
seen
come across an injured momma bear and her dead cub. we tried to save the cub but were only able to save the momma.
momma bear is taking us to the bearfolk with her cub. and we come across a scout/ranger
 
make contact, give them the necklace and we explain our situation to them. They allow us to stay with them and make camp for the night.
 
In the night we hear screaming and weapons ready we run to the screams. Pad is being attacked by 3 unknown creatures. We fight them, and realize they are a zombie fox, raccoon, and Pads son, Tad. Magic Mushrooms have reanimated their corpses.
 
Fire and Ice are the only ways to truly kill them. we inform the bear folk, they are shocked these creatures made it into their land, but have hear of rumors of their exsistance. we form an alliance because we foght to defend one of their own.
