Today's patrol in old city

Today we began our delve into the old city, Upon noticing a house that stood out as an anomaly in the normally decrepit ruins of the city. We started our investigation at the shed of the house where we found a trap door with a secret tunnel leading to a man cave for games and trophy display. After fighting several wraiths and azurite aged 40 years (and a possessed Gronk) we rested in kallistas hut. After our rest we continued into the home and started restoring things in order to deal with an obscure after image that we were seeing on things. The people who successfully restored things ended up having visions as members of the family who lived in this home. Then After murak found a secret room where cracks were beginning to tear in reality to witt, Wynn, azurite and i decided to try and leave the house when we were attacked by the wraiths of the family again. While most of us engaged in combat kallista found a hidden room where there was a wizard holding concentration on a spell after kallista and murak helped channel the magic energy needed the house restored to being destroyed. We found the family restored to humanity and learned that something happened 2 thousand years ago with an empire ruled by a sun worshipping vampire lord that had a super weapon which azurite had more insight on. As well as a situation with an eye that watched over old city that was known as loc leth or the city of fire. The eye brought the city to a different t dimension so they all believed it saved them from apocalypse. The connection in our minds of an eye the size of a star makes us obviously think of the solar occulus, furthermore azurite mentioned that alhoun was living in an all illithid city. The insurmountable odds of the growing threats has me on edge. I feel that we have to start prioritizing missions that further our goals of stopping the things that would destroy the city where I and my companions have built our guild
