Expectations

He always said expectations kill relationships and here I am. Shouldn't I be able to have expectations for those I'm going to risk my life on? How different is that from a union? Oh it's maddening the races and their short self sighted foolishness...and my own accuse me of the same? Not even close how dare they. They are wrong! Fools. Going to get themselves killed just like this lot. I may not know everything but I know this isn't how it should be. Is this how all adventurers are really? I hope not. Not likely to get another group as capable though. That dwarf is needed for sure. We need an arcane user. Someone to hurl magics at the things or bind them to the very earth. Or tools...like the weapons and legends of old able to pull them down. If Inys himself was nearly slain by such than certainly these? ... Dreaming.... That level of cooperation and organization just doesn't exist in the races now. Sheered sheep in Nightal, I swear. Going to die just as painful a death if something doesn't change. I wont be able to wrestle that white with it being that big. Don't they realize this is serious? Blind as a Kobold in Solstice sun. And a Dracolich? My word you weak humans! Don't you realize this isn't just some company of orcs we face? What chance do we stand really? Not much of a feat bringing down a young green. How do I expect us to actually bring down the real threats? I should leave this to the powerful arcane users of the land. Badb herself would need to help us to survive this. Why do we even waste our time? We should be out finding real heroes for this. If I could go home instead I would. I guess I don't have anything better to do. Whatever.
