The Mansion invasion + conspiracies

My frog went through a bunch of rat holes and stole a goblet from a child because he convinced the kids he was a magic frog and would bring him treasure.
 
We made a deal with the thieves guild to get information for us giving hem a sealed document.
 
Stealing the document went really wrong. We were going to sneak around the house, lowering my frog into the chimney with woona inside his mouth. Then we would sneak around the house.
 
We went in at 11pm, and everyone was awake except for Vincent. Who we startled awake. Otherwise everyone was asleep.
Why was everyone awake??? Was it a trap?? No one was asleep? Who was the inquisitor? He didnt seem like a normal person to be here. Who did he worship (he was cleric)????W
Why was there knights? Not just guards? The guards/ Inquisitor were gonna arrest nikita, NOT kill him. So they were from the city?, not private guards, who would have killed trespassers.
 
One butler (cleaver boi) got away to alert people. And the kid and the mother we let go. They were paralyzed with fear.
 
Vincent....? Why was he there? Did he come after us? Why not? Maybe he stayed hidden, or escaped to tell his "boss" (maybe the cult) that we were doing the breakin.
 
Woona: how did you survive?
Vincent: I could ask you the same thing
...
Vincent: Everything is nice now, and when you (woona) show up, its an omen, everything goes to shit.
Mineral: Suggested "This is all very unusual. You're dreaming. Go back to bed"
 
 
 
Hamdar sponsered nikita and ophelia... so why was vincent (who wasnt sponsered by him) at his house.
Is hamdar missing because of the same incident as us?
Did we see any sponsors at all at the cult meetings? Maybe all the sponsors were victims. Maybe he (mr. hamdar) is being held hostage/the cultists are controlling the family somehow with hamdar? Which is why it seemed like a trap? Hunter said he saw Rondol at the cult meetings, maybe he was the only sponsor to side with the cultists. John is on the evil side? Brainwashed? He was the whole time??? He was convinced by them???? If john sees mineral, will he try to get mineral to join him in a ":) <3 :pleading: " way or a ">:)" way? ...... Will John maybe react in the same way vincent did with woona.... a sort of "oh my god you're still alive, this changes things." Like a lose everything you care about> side with villans because they promise you good things > try to move on and forget past/supress guilt of what you had to do to adapt.... That being said maybe we can convince people to fight with us? like a "there is still a chance we can beat them!, you dont just have to give in because you admitted defeat"
 
TODO: Try to recall more clearly the events of what happened when the whole apocolapse thing went down. Was john (or any of the others who are now on the cult side) "faking" anything/fear/getting killed?
 
Elf Thieves guild leader sounded desperate "I lost my bargaining chip". So he may not have been the one to betray us. There were lots of people in the theives guild. Maybe cultist spies.
If the thieves guild leader's enemy is the cultists too. The cultists would want to sabotage the plan he gave us. But... There were city guards there? If they were city guards. So is it the police who did this? Did the cultists infiltrate the police? Or were the police just called apon as an easy countermeasure for dealing with our break-in.
