Jay finally convinced me to take that stupid job to the stupid Elven ruins. So now I'm in that stupid cart with that stupid bard and those stupid cats outside.
Okay, it pays well, I'll give him that. But at what cost? My sanity?! Bards. Bards! They're the worst. And he's sooo condescending. Same with those cats. The one cat at least. He doesn't let the other one talk enough for me to know if he's condescending or not either. But it's just towards me! They think Jay's all strong and important and I just follow him around. I can do a lot of things you know! Just not the things that we've been doing lately is all. And the whole point of what I do is not to get noticed anyway ̶s̶o̶ ̶h̶o̶w̶ ̶d̶o̶ ̶I̶ ̶g̶e̶t̶ ̶t̶h̶e̶m̶ ̶t̶o̶ ̶n̶o̶t̶i̶c̶e̶ ̶m̶e̶?̶
What's your one rule Scout, 'always let yourself be underestimated' that way you're the one in control and you're the one that wins. So why does it bother me that they're all underestimating me? Jay says not to worry about it, but what else am I supposed to do? Read the stupid bard's books in his stupid cart? I don't even think I'm allowed to touch them.
We did meet an elf, so that was cool I guess. He's weird. But not stupid.
And we're on our way to Springyard so, that should be small enough where people will know if The Vile Man was lousing around. .. talk about stupid.
