Job: Magical Fact Finding

would like a team of 3-5 to investigate.

on an island, and trying to cross a quickly moving river (10-15' wide) depth unknown. its just before sunset, debating on if we should cross. Tolgar wants to cross since he's the biggest.
 
Tolgar takes a hemp rope to swim across.
Keath falls in and we are trying to get her
Thornden jumps in and try's to save Keath
Sparkles is holding the end of the rope, Tolgar jumps in after Keath and Thornden. With Bernithe' s help, we were able to hold on and save them all

Tolgar takes Keath to the other side, Sparkles holds the rope and allows Bernithe and Thornden to cross.
 
Sparkles will tie the rope around her waist and have them pull her over. Its past dark, and they set up camp. Tolgar attempts to play bagpipes, does a decent job

found quartz in the second river that we came across. this type is associated with metals and other deposits - it is not magical

everyone crosses the second river, BB fell and hurt herself, but is ok
 
Third river, we hop right over - and come across more mountainous range
 
Tolgar Mongolian throat sang to the trees, impressed Keath.
 
we see some shells, and investigation make us realize something was after the animal in the shells
 
Keath goes and prays, Tolgar does first watch, BB does second shift,
 
during the night Tolgar encounters a swarm of bats
Sparkle casts Arms of Hadar and kills two bats,
Keath casts words of radiance - kills the bat attached to his face, a bat near tolgar
dies too and two escape the spell
Bat flies into Tolgar, but he was able to catch it
there is a bat on Thornden's face and Tolgar has caught one
BB tries to stab the bat Tolgar has, in an effort to not get stabbed he released the
bat and BB kills it
Thornden has one on his face that's sucking the blood, and trying to kill him
Tolgar is going to try and save Thornden by casting Healing Hands
Thornden is going to try and rip the bat off his face but is not able to kill it
Keath is being attacked, and shoos the bat away
Sparkles was able to stab the bat Thornden was wrestling
BB swats a bat away and uses the hand cross bow and aims and MURDERS the
bat
Tolgar heals Keath
Thornden swings at the remaining bat with his battle axe and splits the bat in half
