Personal history

Tatsuya was born 154 years ago in the city of Sumaru to two loving parents. In his childhood years, Tatsuya would play with the same group of friends day in and day out, until one day one of the group revealed she would be moving away. In reaction, his friends locked her into the shrine of Amaterasu so she would not be able to go away, and Tatsuya as well for speaking against the idea. That night, there was a fire in the shrine. Tatsuya, wreathed in flame, seeing his own face as the one who started the fire, only made it out due to the protection of Amaterasu. Protection that which became a pact to find the same faced man who committed the arson. Tatsuya's friend was never found.

Time passed but the memory of that night never faded. Amaterasu let Tatsuya live his childhood peacefully, but she gave him a rather stern reminder when Tatsuya decided to move on to Bard's College.

Since that day, for the past 50 years, Tatsuya has fruitlessly been searching for leads on his case with little luck alongside his trusty partner, and Girlfriend, Isabeau Shirogane.

Education

Tatsuya dropped out from Bard College at age 105 to focus on Detective work and hunting aberrations.

Employment

Tatsuya is Self employed through the Kuzunoha Detective Agency, amongst whos ranks also include Isabeau, Magdar, and Kingfin.

Accomplishments & Achievements

Tatsuya and his Party defeated a Solar in a contest for the right of freedom of worship to whoever god they wished.

Failures & Embarrassments

In the closest Tatsuya has ever got to catching the person involved with the Arson, said arsonist caused the arcane collapse of an Inn, killing several people who would have survived if not for The Detectives involvement.

Mental Trauma

Tatsuya is deathly afraid of Fire, even to the point that he refuses to cast fire magic, using his tinderbox only for religious purposes.
