Legendary Requires Attunement
You gain a +1 bonus to attack and damage rolls made with this weapon. While holding this weapon, you can cast the *jump* spell from it as a bonus action at will, but can target only yourself when you do so.
Dragoon's Skyfall Awakened
When a character awakens the Dragoon's Skyfall, apply the following changes to the item's traits.
The weapon's bonus to attack and damage rolls increases to +2.
When you take the attack action while falling from a great height, you can choose to perform a dive attack. The first attack you make deals an additional 1d8 damage for every 10 feet you fell this round, to a maximum of 10d8.
When you fall, you can choose to reduce any falling damage you take by an amount equal to four times your character level and not fall prone.
Dragoon's Skyfall Exalted
When the character exalts the Dragoon's Skyfall, apply the following changes to the item's traits.
The weapon's bonus to attack and damage rolls increases to +3.
Meteor Jump. As an action when falling from a great height you can smash into the ground with earth shattering force. Creatures within 20 feet of you must make a Dexterity saving throw (DC = 8 + your proficiency bonus + your choice of your Strength or Dexterity modifier). On a failed save, a creature takes 1d10 bludgeoning damage for every 10 feet you fell, to a maximum of 10d10, and is knocked prone. On a successful save, a creature takes half damage and is not knocked prone. Additionally, the ground in that area becomes difficult terrain until cleared. Each 5-foot-square portion of the area requires at least 1 minute to clear by hand. Once you use Meteor Jump, you can’t use it again until you finish a short or long rest.
