(Real world: Heater shield) Named for its distinctive corners, the ecketarge is a Semendric shield adapted from the larger targe, and is meant for wealthier soldiers who can afford more plate, especially those more likely to fight out of formation, like skirmishers. It can be strapped if its wearer prefers, but is more often center-grip.
