After going through the mutation process of the venthir and having sharthir blood, you have gained the ability to enter a shadow state instead of etherealness. When you choose to shadow step, you gain the following changes to the ethereal step feature:
- You gain resistance to non-magical bludgeoning, piercing, and slashing damage
- You instantly gain 4d4+4 temporary hit points when entering shadow step.
- At the start of your turn while in shadow step, you can choose to teleport up to 30 feet to an unoccupied space that you can see, which is in dim-light or darkness.
- You gain vulnerability to radiant damage.
