Basic Spellcasting Foci
Non-magical Items that can be invested with magical potential and used my spellcasters to cast their spells.
Component Pouch (5cp): A small pouch filled with dozens of compartments, each containing a reagent tied to arcane spellcasting. Bat guano in one, ghoul nails in another. Easy enough to keep well stocked by a fastidious mage.
Divination Bones (5sp): A collection of knuckle bones with worn flat sides and druidic glyphs carved into the side. When held or thrown, allows you to channel natural divination magics.
Small Totem (1gp): A small ornate figure of one of the great druidic beast spirits, carved out of bone or wood and carries a semblance of life within it’s eyes.
Animal Tooth Necklace (3gp): A rare animal tooth placed within a setting and leather thong necklace. Can be used to enhance natural enchantments.
Holy Symbol (5gp): A symbol carved out of a sacred material into a specific shape that allows you to channel divine power.
Druidic Staff (5gp): A wooden quarterstaff wrought from one of the ten sacred woods of Silvanus and given basic enchantments to protect it and channel nature magic. Can be used as a bludgeoning weapon [1d6/1d8 versatile].
Arcanist Staff (5gp): A simple wooden quarterstaff given basic enchantments to protect it and channel arcane power. Can be used as a bludgeoning weapon [1d6/1d8 versatile].
Oni/Hannya Mask (9gp): An ornate wooden lacquered mask made in the style of the east. Can be used to channel nature magic.
Unpowered Wand (10gp): A magical focus for druidic and arcane spellcasters without any pre-bound spells or charged.
Arcanist Rod (10gp): A simple metal rod given basic enchantments to protect it and channel arcane power. Can be used as a bludgeoning weapon [1d6].
Quartz Resonance (10gp): A naturally magic crystal harvested and enchanted to protect it. Brilliant for working illusion and conjuration schools of arcane, nature magic and psionics.
Star Orb (20gp): Orbs enchanted with the constellations of Faerun within their depths, and can be used to determine north. Can be used by arcane spellcasters and druids.
