Born or raised in the College of Kydonia
Training under the secretive precepts of one inducted into the Order of Cardinal Virtues, you have learned how best to serve and embody the four Arete. You choose one of the virtues as a guiding vow and gain one of the following benefits:
As an aspect of Iustitia:
Once struck by an enemy whose type is aberration, fiend, monstrosity or undead, you may expend your reaction to deal a melee or ranged weapon attack to that same enemy.
This feature can only be used once per short rest.
Additionally, you have a +1 to attack against those same enemy types.
As an aspect of Phrónēsis:
You may regain a spell slot of the second-highest level available to you.
This feature can only be used once per long rest.
As an aspect of Andreía:
You can protect yourself against one critical hit inflicted against you. The damage becomes that of a normal hit, instead.
This feature can only be used once per long rest.
As an aspect of Sōphrosýnē:
You may re-roll one saving throw. The usage of this feature must be decided and acknowledged before the result is given, and you must keep the new result.
This feature can only be used once per long rest.
One may only choose to embody one virtue at a time. The embodied virtue can be changed upon a visit followed by a long rest done in the College.
