Scholars start with the widest array of available languages. They may choose two of the following languages: Abyssal, Akitonian, Aklo, Aquan, Arkanen, Auran, Brethedan, Castrovelian, Celestial, Common, Druw'th, Eoxian, Gobbilin, Golaric, Ignan, Infernal, Kalo, Kasathan, Nchaki, Orcish, Sarcesian, Shirren, Sylvan, Terran, Draconic, Vercite, Veskit or Ysokic. Scholars start with the following Tier 0 Talent:

The Scholar counts the following skills as career skills: Knowledge (life sciences) , knowledge (physical sciences) and knowledge (social sciences) . Before spending experience during character creation, a Scholar may choose four of their career skills and gain one rank in each of them.
