As an action, you present your holy symbol and speak a prayer of denunciation, using your Channel Divinity. Choose one creature within 60 feet of you that you can see. That creature must make a Wisdom saving throw, unless it is immune to being frightened. Fiends and undead have disadvantage on this saving throw.

On a failed save, the creature is frightened for 1 minute or until it takes any damage. While frightened, the creature's speed is 0, and it can't benefit from any bonus to its speed.

On a successful save, the creature's speed is halved for 1 minute or until the creature takes any damage.

Channel Divinity: Vow of Enmity
As a bonus action, you can utter a vow of enmity against a creature you can see within 10 feet of you, using your Channel Divinity. You gain advantage on attack rolls against the creature for 1 minute or until it drops to 0 hit points or falls unconscious.
Death's End
You find that you are now able to convert the off putting aura that you give off to strengthen your abilities to grant Death to those that deserve it. Rather than exude the Aura of Protection you now give off you can focus your hand of Death to a target. For each attack that you strike at them you deal an additional 2d6 necrotic damage and all allies may deal an additional 1d6 necrotic on their successful strikes. This skill rends resistance to Necrotic to take normal damage and immunity to resistance and down to normal after dealing 30 Necrotic damage to the target collectively. When the target is slain you regain your use of Vow of Enmity if it was previously expended.

Light of Death
You are able to now absorb the light given off when a creature is slain. As a reaction you may absorb that light from a target killed within the last round to expend any amount of hit die you require adding Constitution modifier as normal for each die. If you heal more than your maximum hit points that healing is converted into temp hit points.
Relentless Avenger

By 7th level, your supernatural focus helps you close off a foe's retreat. When you hit a creature with an opportunity attack, you can move up to half your speed immediately after the attack and as part of the same reaction. This movement doesn't provoke opportunity attacks.

Notes of the book of true honor
The Holy Book of True Honor- You find a very peculiar and important part, passage within it. It speaks that a shred of divinity is as much as it says, a part of the gods brought to give those that join their souls with one of another real for the ability to cast holy magics. As the bond between the two increases there are noted thresholds of being able to wield power and what happens with the bonded soul, once you've gained enough experience, the soul awakens, generally vilently or loudly as if a screeching (depending on the pantheon), after that its a slow progression to continue as they regain their consciousness of what they used to be.
No records of people ascending with the Shred of Divinity but the Guardians of Divinity hold secrets.

Notes on Shred of Divinity and God stuff

-Its rare to have a healthy relationship between shred and 'chosen'. The calling is how paladins and clerics come to be.
-'Dynathia' is an immortal of death. Paladins are swords in the hand of death, they are more akin to the body (talkin about immortals) they are a manifestation of the pantheon to walk the mortal realms and affect it. They were all believed to have been lost. There are varied speculations about how they were lost, taken, held as prisoners, there are many theories but for this immortal they seem to have lost their mind.

-"Interesting that the pantheon asks you to make sure she does not remember."

-Something happened to the death gods so a council of the angels (reapers) took charge. And Rose (shred of divinity) seems to be one of those gods? or like essential to recovering one god
-The shred of divinity is the shred of a god duh, but oyu have to mature it correctly for it to grow properly

When an ally within your melee range is hit with an attack you can use your reaction to make an attack roll versus the enemies. If your attack roll is higher than the enemies then you negate the amount of damage that your strike would have done. If you have the sentinel feat then you are able to make both the reaction attack and defense in the same strike, often using an enemies attack against themselves as you deal the damage you would do and negate the same amount.

This golden ring holds a jade stone within the fixture, a softly glowing golden sword within the center of the jade that seems to radiant power that resonates with one’s Shred of Divinity.

The Sword of Divinity’s Strike.
Marking a target and being able to decimate them in the order of one’s Shred is important though can be limiting if many are opposing you. This ring allows for the wearer to move any marks or targeted abilities on a creature to another for free if you are the one that reduces them to zero hit points. This works with any ability, even ones that would fade on kill of the targeted creature.
