Nightbridge Guide
You are a member of the Nightbridge’s Guidesman, a loose guild of mercenaries who protect caravans traveling through the lands plagued by the Decrept. Each guide has their own style and strategies to keep death at bay. Few understand the undead better than they do. The most common and journey is from Provenance to Carcassonne by the west road. It takes caravans directly into the shadow of the dark mountains. Night begins early here, as the scraggled peaks of the towering mountains plunge this valley into darkness by early afternoon, and the mountains to the east keep the morning at bay until near time for second breakfast.
The undead rise here in the nights and seek out the living. But experts know the tricks to keep them at bay. How they hunt by sound. Which ones are mindless and will wander past a silent camp and which ones will seek them out and give chase til morning. Some have even seen the traps laid by the Guides to provide safety for their hidden camps. Only a Guide would know the way.

Features
Feature: Step of the Dead
By choosing to move at half speed you can walk amongst the mindless decrept without their notice. Most of the undead don’t hunt you by scent, but rather by noise and movement. By remaining quiet, shuffling, and being intentionally slow to react you can fool them into believing you to be one of them. If you take any Reaction, take a hostile action, or speak aloud the effect is ended and the decrept recognize you as a target.
You may guide an ally within five feet of you with soft whispers to follow your lead. You can effect as many allies as your proficiency bonus at a time.
